We came to the seventh week. The last two week we taught Present simple and Present continous. After greeting children we began to the lesson. Before begining to the lesson we wanted to ask how was their weekend. And everyone explaıned their weekend.Among the students only Nihat was out of home.He visited his relative. The rest was at home. Then we checked the homework. They were supposed to write ten sentences about Present sentence and Present simple.Sulgun checked homework and corrected if there were any mistakes. Actually there were not so much serious mistakes. They almost learned the subjects. And we were able to pass to the next subject. As ı said last week we did not plan what to explain this week. But then we decided to teach clocks.Sulgun started first. She explained everything and gave examples. Then Baygeldi did some practices with children. At first it was difficult for them because they could not concentrate to the correct form. But then they got used to it.Then we did a group work.We made two groups and they asked questions to each other. Then ı taught some vocabulary as usual. Every week we taught some words. Thıs week we taught colors( blue, green, yellow, black, grey, white, red, pink,).By showing colors to the children thet could learn easily. Also ı taught some sentences and expressions( What is your favourite color- what kind of book do you like- where do you live- can you give it to me-There is a book on the table- there are some books on the table-)
At the end of lesson we did a general revise about what we learned so far.In general there were not so problem. We did a lot of practice. Also, we tried to use the sentences while teaching which we taught. It was one of the enjoyable weeks children liked it too.For homework childrens’ responsibility were both to revise the new subject and to write a different clock time by their own.
